i The %age of academic marks obtained in conventional/term system shall be treated as actual marks whereas, the %age of semester system shall be multiplied by 0.9.
ii. Whenever the terminal qualification requirement is 16 years of education, its weight shall
be 7.5. In the case of a Master’s degree following a two-year Bachelor’s program, the
weight shall be 5.5.
iii. In the case of an M.Phil/ MS leading to a PhD, the academic quantification shall be
calculated up to 16 years of education, and the weight of the M.Phil/ MS degree (18
years of education), i.e., 3 points, shall be added to the relevant Bachelor’s degree (4
years) or Master’s degree (after a 2-year Bachelor), as applicable.
iv. In the case of an M.Phil/ MS or equivalent degree obtained after a two-year Bachelor’s
degree (14 years of education), the weight of the Master’s degree (after a two-year
Bachelor), i.e., 2.5 points, shall be added to the weight of the M.Phil/ MS or equivalent
degree (18 years of education), i.e., 3 points, for the purpose of academic quantification.

(iii) Experience in relevant Field;

i) Post qualification experience as per HEC guidelines.
ii) Teaching/research experience (BPS-17 and above or its equivalent) in HEC recognized University/Degree Awarding Institution or a Post Graduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. The teaching experience of Assistant/Associate Lecturers/Demonstrators in HEC recognized University/Degree Awarding Institution or a Post Graduate Institute shall also be consideredd as a valid experience. However, in no case experience gained on DPL, visiting and similar shall be considered.
iii) Candidates shall be awarded one (01) mark for one-year experience of the over and above required experience. The fraction of experience (in months and days) shall be calculated in fraction.
iV) Formula for marks calculation: years + (months x 30 + days) / 360
